Beth Colley's mission is to guide career professionals through the 40+ steps involved in job search today while giving her clients more confidence, increased efficiency, and faster results. In January of 2000, she began a new career outside of church ministry as a Resource Specialist at a local non-profit job training agency that provided career assistance to dislocated workers. Within a year, she earned a promotion to Career Consultant, which included case management and career workshop facilitation, until she left to in August of 2004 to start her own Career Management firm, Chesapeake Résumé Writing Service.
As emerging technology continues to impact job search practices, ongoing professional development is a key factor in staying cutting edge, especially during one of the most volatile employment markets in the last 80 years. To date, her credentials include: Certified Career Management Coach, Certified Master Résumé Writer, Certified Expert Résumé Writer, Certified Federal Job Search Trainer, and Certified Professional Résumé Writer. Beth Colley is a graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and has several outside interests from work including, singing with the Singers Madrigale, singing in her church choir, playing guitar, and cheering for her children both on and off the soccer field.
